Material |
PA 6.6 rod natural is a material with high toughness, good hardness, strength, and good heat stability. PA (polyamide) 6.6 is also known as Nylon. Nylon is a general trademark for PA materials. One downside with PA, in general, is that it has high water absorption, which doesn’t make it very dimensional stable. PA 6.6, however, has a lower water absorption than PA 6 E. On the upside, it is one of the toughest plastic materials on the market and exhibits a high impact resistance, good resistance against acids and chemicals has high abrasion, and is easy to machine. This material is also available as sheets and in black.
