PE-UHMW rod natural (Polyethylene) comes in many types, forms, and sizes. This version, UHMW (Ultra-High Molecule Weight), is also known as PE-1000. PE is one of the most commonly used materials in the world! Good sliding properties, good wear resistance, high chemical resistance, able to handle extreme cold (-200°C), and possible to recycle and use again. The material can be machined in all ways! Drilling, cutting, sawing, milling, water-jet cutting, warm bending – it can even be threaded. PE-UHMW is one of the best all-round materials for any industry!
