PEEK sheet (polyetheretherketone) is the Plastics of plastics! Outstanding dimensional stability, high strength, toughness, hardness and can possibly resist most known chemicals or acids known to mankind. PEEK can be run in an autoclave or sterilized using hot steam, has very low water absorption, and can handle a temperature span of 300°C (350°C for a short term). This material can go to space, be used as implants or in aviation. This material is also available as round rods.
