POM C rod traffic red, or Acetal as it also is known, is with PA (Nylon) one of the most commonly used engineering plastics in the world. POM (polyoxymethylene) is very easy to machine, has a good dimensional stability, good recistance against chemicals, low water absorption, and a good heat distortion temperature. POM is widely used in machinery or mechanical constructions in probably all genres. Rollers, gear wheels, cams, guides, sliding plates or components for pumps and valves. This material is also available in tubes and sheets, and in black and natural color.
