Material

POM H sheet natural is the bigger little brother in the POM (polyoxymethylene) family. The H stands for homopolymer and the C, in POM C, stands for copolymer. So what is the difference between them? POM H has a higher melting point and is 10-15% stronger than POM C. They have about the same properties when it comes to impact strength though. The physical and mechanical properties for POM H are in general better than those with POM C. Despite that, POM H has only 25% of the global POM sales. When you have applications where you need good abrasion resistance or good sliding capabilities, POM H could be an alternative for you! This material is also available in round rods, and in black.
