POM MD sheet dark blue is a metal detectable POM (polyoxymethylene). This material has its base from POM C FG, the food-grade approved version of POM, but with additives that can be found by a metal detector. The material is also colored in a very clear blue color, which makes it easier to see. This color is common practice to use in the foodstuffs industry for material that can come in contact with any kind of foodstuffs. This material is also available as round rods.
