POM-PE sheet is a material combined with POM (polyoxymethylene) and PE (polyethylene). Combined, they strengthen each other properties, and provides improved friction, dry sliding behavior, and minimized squeaking noises. The material offers good resistance to acids, good temperature for usage in air, a very low water absorption, good heat distortion temperature, high surface hardness, and good toughness. This light blue engineering plastic is often used as bearing bushes, sliding plates, and structural components. We also have this material available as round rods.
